Top Gardens to visit for some autumn colour
Autumn is undeniably one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Change in air temperature, sparkling morning dew and intricately woven cob-webs that magically appear each morning almost make us forget how much we miss the summer. The pièce de résistance is the magnificent display of trees dressed in their beautifully leafed gowns of kaleidoscopic shades of autumn that also decorate the surrounding grounds as they gradually wilt and begin to fall.
We have compiled a list of the top gardens you should absolutely visit this autumn!
Celebration Garden
Our very own garden was created in 2015 in celebration of 60 years of Aylett Nurseries. Situated to the side of the Garden Centre, with access through the gates at the top of the carpark. Dahlias grown amongst the perennial plants and shrubs show just how fantastic and varied these late flowering summer plants can be.
Why not visit our Dahlia Coffee House and grab a takeaway coffee to enjoy as you wander around our glorious garden.
The garden is available to visit all year round but the best time is during the summer months when the Dahlias are also in flower. A Dahlia Information Booklet is available to help you choose your plants for your garden next year.
