Home Delivery – Ordering Online
Our home delivery service operates 6 days a week (Monday – Saturday), within a 20-mile radius of the garden centre. Home delivery charges apply on purchases under the ‘free delivery’ value threshold the charges and delivery days are dependent on delivery postcode – delivery charge will be calculated and added at checkout – details of our delivery areas and charges can be found at www.aylettnurseries.co.uk/delivery/
Our delivery service operates from 7.30am to 5.00pm all year round. Delivery outside of these hours we will be special arrangement only. Deliveries within the Congestion Zone may be subject to additional charges. Our vehicles are exempt from ULEZ fees.
Our delivery service operates to your front door, we will always endeavour to put items as close to the desired spot as possible, but if access for the vehicle or item is restricted then we will leave the items in a suitable position. The exception to this rule is deliveries of paving, aggregates and compost which are always kerbside. For furniture deliveries the logistics of delivery will be discussed and arranged subject to access and item purchased.
Once you have placed your order you will be contacted within 24 hours, by telephone or e-mail, confirming the delivery date of your goods (exceptions apply on days of closure, on these occasions you will contacted on the next working day of normal opening hours – please see our opening hours for details).
At present we do not offer a mail order service or delivery overseas.
Click & Collect
When ordering through our Online Shop a Click & Collect option is available at check out. The Click & Collect option is free of charge and hourly collection slots are available daily, on a first come first served basis. You will be asked to select a Click & Collect slot and we ask that this is adhered to. If you need to change your Click & Collect slot please contact us by email email@example.com or telephone 01727 744155 and we will endeavour to change your slot to the day/time required, ability to change slots is subject to slot availability. Orders that are not collected on the allotted collection slot will be held for 24hours and then returned and refunded.
When collecting from the garden centre we have a designated Click & Collect collection point and parking bays. Click & Collect orders are collected from the car park and entry to the garden centre is not required.
When you arrive at the Garden centre please drive up the car park, past the main entrance and you will see the Click & Collect Parking Bays on the right-hand side. Please park in a free bay and call 01727 744155 to make customer services aware you have arrived. Please have your receipt number ready (this can be printed or on a mobile device) to speed the process for you. We will then bring the items to your car. If you need assistance loading your car, please ask and we will gladly help.
Please note: For security reasons, pre-paid orders can only be collected from the garden when ordered through our Online Shop using the Click & Collect option.
Gift Cards can be loaded with funds of £10 to £250 and are valid for 36 months from date of purchase.
Gift Cards are accepted as full or part payment for purchases at Aylett Nurseries Ltd, including in Seasons Café and the Gift Shop.
Online purchases of gift cards are posted by First Class Royal Mail, on or before the next working day (exceptions are Bank Holidays and days of closure, on these occasions gift cards will be posted on the next working day of normal opening hours – please see our opening hours for details). A postage charge of £2.50 is applicable on all Gift Card orders.
Gift Cards can be delivered to the purchaser or directly to the recipient. Please use the ‘Delivery Instructions’ box at Checkout if vouchers are to be sent to an address different to the billing address; if you would like a personal message to be included with the gift card this can also be requested here.
Please note: gift vouchers are not currently redeemable online. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Cancellations & Returns
To cancel your order please contact us by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone on 01727 822255. If we have not already sent your order to you, we will cancel it and a refund of any payment taken will be refunded. If you have already taken delivery of your order, items can be returned, with proof of purchase within 28 days of purchase. For a full refund of the purchase price, goods must be returned in the same condition in which they were purchased; in an undamaged state, with packaging intact, and must not be used whilst in the customers possession.
In the event an item is faulty, a replacement, credit or refund will be issued, at the purchase price, when the item is returned with proof of purchase within the warranty period.
Two Year Plant Guarantee – We will guarantee the free replacement or credit of any container-grown hardy plant which dies within two years of purchase, providing it has been planted in accordance with our planting instructions and has received the appropriate after-care. In the unlikely event of failure, the dead plant must be presented for examination, bearing its original label, and with proof of purchase or receipt within two years.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Age Restricted Products
We are required by law to ensure that for age restricted products e.g., blades, the purchaser is over the legal purchasing age. Please be prepared to show proof of age on delivery/collection when purchasing such items. Age restricted items are identified by a disclaimer in the product information section. If proof of age cannot be shown on delivery/collection the item will cancelled and a refunded at the purchasing cost will be given.

Every effort is made to ensure product information and packaging is correct, however, in the unlikely event that product information is incorrect we advise the purchaser always carefully reads the manufacturers label before use.
Prices are as set out on the website and include VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
Prices and offers on the Online Shop are identical to those offered whilst shopping in store unless otherwise stated.
