Around the World Crate Competition – WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Our Around the World Crate Competition entries have been admired by our customers and staff throughout our Autumn Festival (5th – 15th September).

The efforts and imagination that went into the creation of our 25 crates entries was quite simply astonishing and the messages, memories, interests and places that they depicted made for a splendid display.

In total 692 customer votes were cast and it’s our pleasure to announce the winners, as follows;

1st Prize

Isabel Hospice – Living Well Gardening Group – 101 Votes – Prize: £100 Aylett Gift Voucher

The Isabel Hospice Living Well Gardening Group have created the most fantastic multi coloured, mixed media display which tells us of the importance their horticultural therapy group has to their quality of life, thank you for sharing your passion for horticulture and many congratulations.

2nd Prize

Samuel Farran – 74 Votes – Prize: £75 Aylett Gift Voucher

Samuel is King of the Jungle with his fun crate, complete with sound effects and ‘spot the items that don’t belong in the jungle’ game, this crate was certainly admired by our customers and wins second prize – well done Samuel. 

3rd Prize

Evelyn & Tatiana – 72 Votes – Prize: £50 Aylett Gift Voucher

Evelyn and Tatiana have spend their summer holiday collecting plastic off the beach and have created this magnificent seascape to highlight their poignant message about plastic pollution in the ocean – congratulations to these two young eco warriors.
